Every year, institutions which act as their own school admission authorities must review the process by which parents and guardians apply for places at their schools. If changes are planned, they have to first be consulted on.

Warning to West Northants shops selling tobacco products to minors

Two shops sold an e-cigarette to a 16-year-old girl during a test purchasing operation carried out by West Northamptonshire Council's (WNC) Trading Standards team last month.

The girl, under the supervision of Trading Standards' officers, visited eight shops across Daventry and Northampton in October in order to attempt to buy e-cigarettes and cigarettes. The legal age to buy these in the UK is 18.... Read More »

Neighbourhood Hybrid Motorcycles in your area

One of the new petrol-electric hybrid motorcycles being used by PCSO Miller today around Boughton and Buckton Fields. These new three-wheeled bikes will be used by neighbourhood policing teams helping them to increase accessibility and visibility within local communities.

Moulton Remembrance Service 2022

Collection of Wreaths at the memorial in Moulton Public Gardens

At 10.15am on Sunday 13th November 2022, a number of local veterans, along with representatives from Moulton Parish Council, West Northamptonshire Council, Moulton Church, Scouts, Gides, the Boys Brigade and the general public gathered at the Memorial at the Public Gardens to lay wreaths to honour servicemen and women who died in past conflicts.

St George's Flag

The St George's cross will fly above West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) buildings this weekend after two England teams reached world cup finals.
