Funding for CCTV security systems after successful pilot scheme.

The Northamptonshire's Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Danielle Stone, has agreed to fund more temporary CCTV security systems to deter shoplifters across the county.

Pod security systems were successfully piloted at Vintage Guru in Northampton in December.

The news follows the latest retail crime roundtable held at Wootton Hall with Danielle Stone, the Chief Constable, crime prevention experts and retailers.

The scheme will start from summer as part of Danielle's ongoing public safety strategy.
