Serving the people of Moulton, Northamptonshire

Yvonne Swallow

I have lived in Moulton since 1980 and I am married to Tim, who was a local bank manager; we have three children who attended both Moulton Primary and Secondary schools. I retired after over 30 years teaching fulfilling the role of Deputy Headteacher, along with being a class teacher with all the responsibility and work that involved.

I have many interests which I do as often as I can including playing tennis, walking, reading, supporting Northampton Saints, but primarily being with my family.

Since joining the Council in 20I8 I have been involved on the planning committee, finance committee and in looking at and improving the play areas in the village. I also help in the Village library and am very pleased it is now a community led library. I am an organised person and a good listener and I want Moulton to continue to be the great village it is for us all to enjoy and live in, and where children can grow up feeling safe and secure. I look forward to the challenge of continuing to serve the local community and of representing the people of Moulton.
